Provide clue about girl's death, get Rs 50,000 - J

Srinagar July 21 (UNI) Jammu and Kashmir police has announced a cash reward of Rs 50,000 to anyone who will provide any information about the killer of a girl in north Kashmir.

Superintendent of Police, Handwara, Dr Haseeb Mughal said anyone providing a clue about the murder of Tabinda Jan in Handwara would be rewarded.

He said the identity of the person, who will help police reach the killer, will be kept confidential.

Police recovered the body of Jan, a student of Uqaab Public School, Handwara from orchards between Langate and Batpora.

She was kidnapped, raped and later murdered by slitting her throat by some unidentified person.

The incident rocked the Jammu and Kashmir Legislative Assembly yesterday.
