Policemen recruited in Mulayam's regime under scanner
Etawah, July 21 (UNI) The Mayawati-led Uttar Pradesh government has initiated inquiry into the police recruitment process under the previous Mulayam Singh Yadav government.
An inquiry committee, led by Senior Superintendent of Police Amit Chandra, has started probing the recruitment of 375 constables.
He said scrutiny of documents submitted by the candidates was being done and those found guity would be punished.
So far, 15 fraudulent induction cases had come to notice.
