Jabalpur, July 21 (UNI) The Madhya Pradesh High Court has directed the Road Transport Corporation to allow continued employment to those employees who wanted to opt out of the voluntary retirement scheme.

On a petition filed by Manoj Kumar Soni of Balaghat and 12 others stating that many employees were forced to opt for VRS under the threat of closure of the Corporation, a division bench of Justice Deepak Mishra and Justice Ms Shubhada Ravi Waghmare issued the directive yesterday while reversing a single-member bench's earlier order justifying the VRS.

The petitioners pleaded that their prayer for opting out from VRS and continued employment be approved.
