Former minister booked for duress and encroachment

Jaunpur, July 21 (UNI) Nineteen people, including former Uttar Pradesh Khadi and Gramudyog minister Rajaram Pandey have been booked for encroaching upon land and issuing life threat in Maharajganj area here.

According to complainant Shivdev Singh, Mr Pandey, his son Sanjay and other aides, stormed his house and opened fire at him.

Besides, they also issued life threat to his kin.

The other complaint was filed on July 19, against 11 persons, including the former minister for encroaching a land in Belharamau village.
