APCC thanks PM for removal of skull logo on beedi packets

Hyderabad, July 21 (UNI) Andhra Pradesh Congress Committee President K Keshava Rao today thanked Prime Minister Manmohan Singh and Health Minister Anbumani Ramadoss for the order to remove skull logo from beedi packets.

In a release here, he said this move would augur well for millions of workers in the beedi industry all over the country.

He also thanked Chief Minister Y S Rajasekhara Reddy, who met the Prime Minister twice on the issue, for his continued efforts in getting the skull logo removed from the packets, as promised by the party during the Karimnagar bypoll.
