2 die of leptospirosis, 1 of fever in Mumbai
Mumbai, July 21 (UNI) Three more persons have succumbed to rain-related diseases in the city taking the toll to 62 since the onset of monsoon this year.
Of the three dead, a 25-year-old male patient and a 20-year-old female patient succumbed to leptospirosis, while the a 22-year-old male died of high fever at the King Edward Memorial (KEM) hospital.
There are 24 civic hospitals in the city which have admitted a total of 1136 patients, suffering from various ailments, during the past 24 hours.
