Nagpur, July 19 (UNI) Former Mumbai Police Commissioner R S Sharma, who was discharged recently in a case related to the multi-crore fake stamp paper scandal, said he wanted to bring all those police officers who had helped the kingpin, Abdul Karim Telgi, to book.

In an chat with newspersons here yesterday, Mr Sharma, who was the police chief in the city for a while, said he was examining all possibilities, including legal recourse, to ensure that the culprits were prosecuted. ''I will leave no stone unturned.

It is now the purpose of my life,'' he said.

He was in the city to meet senior counsel V R Manohar, who defended him in the case. ''I will consult Mr Manohar on the future course of action,'' he said.

Mr Sharma alleged his former colleagues O P Bali, Subodh Jaiswal and S S Puri had hatched the conspiracy to implicate him in the fake stamp paper scandal. ''I was promoted as Mumbai police commissioner superceding several seniors. This annoyed them, and they ganged up against me,'' he said.

Although Mr Bali, Mr Puri and Mr Jaiswal had tried to safeguard Telgi's interest, no action had been taken against them, he alleged.

According toMr Sharma his decision to make Telgi's wife Shahida an accused in the case was correct as the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) had arrested her and she was now facing trial, he added.
