Ranchi, Jul 18 (UNI) Amid the controversy over the stability of the UPA government in Jharkhand, Chief Minister Madhu Koda today ruled out any threat to his government.

Talking to reporters here after returning from Delhi, Mr Koda alleged that political parties were using pressure tactics and he knew how to overcome them.

Mr Koda said question over stability of the UPA-backed government of the state was raised by the Opposition NDA since its formation but it had completed ten months and was functioning smoothly.

Recently, peeved with the functioning of the Koda government, UPA partners claimed about change in the leadership of the state after the Presidential election.

Referring to the case of annoyed MPs and MLAs belonging to coalition partners, including Congress and RJD, Mr Koda said the matter would be sorted out.

Speaking about the issue of transfers of bureaucrats raised by state Congress chief Pradeep Kumar Balmuchu, he said transfer of bureaucrats was not done under any pressure but with an aim to benefit common people.

About the Presidential election, he claimed that victory of UPA-Left candidate Pratibha Patil was definite because of which NDA leaders had lost their cool and were making trivial statements.

To a query, he said keeping Jharkhand Mukti Morcha supremo Sibu Soren at a camp jail in Ranchi was not a special case and earlier also many leaders were kept in various camp jails.

Soren, facing life term imprisonment for killing his personal assistant Shashi Nath Jha, was brought to Ranchi from Jamshedpur after being produced in a local court there.

The JMM chief was lodged at the Dumka Central jail after being brought to Jharkhand from Tihar jail of Delhi.
