No plans to sell 'Edward Villa': Raghavji
Bhopal, July 18 (UNI) The Madhya Pradesh Government has no plans to sell its prime property 'Edward Villa' in Mumbai, as it is involved in litigation, state Finance Minister Raghavji told the legislative assembly today.
In a written reply to Mr Umashankar Gupta (BJP), Mr Raghavji said the property's valuation had not been carried out and it was in the possession of four tenants.
Three cases are pending in a court since 1991 for getting the tenants evicted.
Presently, the government was receiving a monthly rent of Rs 8,530 from the property.
The tenants include the Provident Investment Company Limited, Mr K M Phillip, Mr B A Gajdhar and Mr S K Sedhna.
