Youth jumps to death in canal

Bulandshahr, July 17 (UNI) A youth allegedly committed suicide by jumping into a canal here last night, police said today.

The police said the body was recovered today on a tip-off by some youths, who were bathing in the canal.

The deceased was identified as Sachin Chaudhary, a resident of railway colony near Khurja junction. He jumped into the canal while riding his bike.

The reason behind the extreme step, however, remained a puzzle.

Investigations were on.
