Hyderabad, July 17 (UNI) Terming as ''undemocratic'' the adjournment of the House for the day without transacting any business, former Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister and Telugu Desam Party (TDP) President N Chandrababu Naidu today alleged the government's main idea was not to discuss any burning issues in the House.

Addressing a press conference soon after the House was adjourned for the day, he said though the Opposition parties urged Speaker K R Suresh Reddy to facilitate a discussion on various issues like distribution of land, price of essential commodities and other issues, the House was adjourned intentionally in an undemocratic manner.

Though, the opposition was co-operative with the government to raise the people's problems, the government did not like to discuss any matter as it feared it might get exposed if discussions took place on any matter, Mr Naidu alleged.

He alleged that the ruling party was resorting to counter attacks on the opposition when they raised any issue in the House.

The Congress had decided not to discuss burning issues in the House.

He said ''when the Congress was in Opposition, they demanded to run the House for 100-days and now they are not ready to conduct the House even for an hour in the day''.

He said the opposition wanted to discuss issues like non- availability of Minimum Support Price for farmers, non-availability of seeds and corruption in all departments, including in irrigation projects and housing schemes.

Mr Naidu alleged that the govenment was trying to ratify the corruption and encourage it by implementing the voluntary disclosure scheme for those who involved in corruption.

The ruling party leaders were looting the public money without any fear.
