Six killed in rain-related incidents

Kozhikode, July 17 (UNI) Six people, including four children, were killed in rain-related incidents in Kozhikode and Malappuram districts of Kerala during the last 24 hours.

Official sources said Rufsal (seven) and Rabeeha (three) were buried alive in their house following a landslide at Kodiyathur village, last night.

In another incident, Anayottumlavukandathil Thonikuzhiyil Mariya (85) and Mani (65) died when their house collapsed following a landslide triggered by heavy rains, last night.

In a similar incident, in Malappuram, two children -- Rasim Bajli (14) and Azim Ishan (9) -- were buried alive when their house collapsed at Edavanna Tippusultan Road, early today.
