Rs 10,000 Cr private investment likely in Kerala: Minister
Thiruvananthapuram, Jul 17 (UNI) Kerala Industries Minister Elamaram Karim today said private investments to the tune of Rs 10,000 crore was expected in the Industrial sector following the initiatives taken by the Government.
Talking to newspersons here, Mr Karim said LNG Terminal in Kochi, Petro Chemical Complex in Kasaragod, Mega Food Park in Wayanad, Knowledge Park in Kozhikode, Electronic Manufacturing hub in Ernakulam, Spices Park in Idukki, Rubber Park in Pathanamthitta and Hi-tec Corridor in Thiruvananthapuram were some of the projects that would be implemented in the state.
Stating that the government would give all encouragement to the small scale sector, the minister said a shopping festival would be organised in North Kerala to promote traditional items.
