One died of consuming liquor

Chennai, July 17 (UNI) A 63-year-old man died, and his colleague was struggling for life, after consuming liquor from an unclaimed liquor bottle, which they found on the road side, here today.

Police said, the deceased Arokia Dass and his friend David, both rickshaw pullers, while walking on the road side, found the bottle. Both consumed the liquor.

A few minutes later, both developed symptoms of vomiting and they were admitted to Government Stanley Medical College hospital here, where Arokia Dass died.

David's condition was said to be critical, police said.
