International exhibition on photography to begin on July 20

Bangalore, Jul 17 (UNI) About 200 manufacturers of photography equipment in Asia will showcase their latest gadgets in a Three-day International Exhibition on Photography +Photo Today-2007+ which begins here on July 20.

Organised by Chennai-based Buysell Interactions, the exhibition being held for the third time, was rated as one of the best events in photography in India. It would be a supermarket of photo, digital imaging and video industry, Buysell Director Vasanth Kumar said today.

Speaking to newspersons here, he said Buysell had successfully organised 32 such mega exhibitions in different parts of the country and also in Sri Lanka. The exhibition would help promote Indian photography at the global levels and plans were on the anvil to hold one each at Malaysia and Dubai in near future, he added.

An exhibition of award winning photographs along with several workshops and seminars would be arranged as part of the exhibition.
