Indigo to start new flight from Kochi to New Delhi, Hyderabad

Kochi, July 17 (UNI) Private low cost airline IndiGo will start daily services from Kochi to New Delhi and Hyderabad, with fares Rs 1,991 and Rs 399, respectively from July 27.

IndiGo would serve these routes by using its 11th brand-new Airbus A320, which would be delivered to the airline on July 24, according to an official release.

IndiGo President and CEO Bruce Ashby said, ''we are steadily building our route network. After taking delivery of our 11th aircraft, we now connect 15 Indian cities with 78 flights daily.'' ''Kochi is the commercial and industrial capital of Kerala and we will look to add additional services there, as we continue to expand our route network, always at affordable fares,'' he added.

Since its launch in August 2006, IndiGo had carried over 1.75 mn passengers and this number was increasing every day, he noted.

To offer superior service to its customers, IndiGo now also offered a wide array of food and beverages.
