Former Sikkim Chief Secretary W T Tenzing dies at 60

Gangtok, July, 17 (UNI) Former Chief Secretary of Sikkim W T Tenzing died following a massive heart attack at his Bhozo Ghari residence here last night, family sources said today.

He was 60 and is survived by his wife, a son and a daughter.

Sikkim Chief Minister Pawan Chamling while condoling his untimely demise said Mr Tenzing was a very competent officer and an able administrator. He also expressed sympathy to the bereaved family members.

An IAS cadre of 1973 batch Mr Tenzing served in various capacities in Central adminsitration as well as in Tripura government.

He was Chief Secretary of Sikkim from 2000 to 2004.
