Five more succumb to monsoon-related ailments
Ahmedabad, July 17 (UNI) Five more people succumbed to monsoon-related diseases in the city today, taking the toll to 39 since the onset of monsoon late last month.
Of the five deaths, two persons died of leptospirosis, two from fever, and one from malaria.
They were admitted in King Edward Memorial (KEM) hospital for treatment.
In the last 24 hours, 1,145 patients were admitted in the various civic-run hospitals in the city and 293 have been discharged.
