Dollex Industries highest bidder for sugar mill

New Delhi, July 17: Dollex Industries Ltd today announced that it has emerged as the highest bidder in the tender floated by Commissioner of Sugar - Maharashtra, for Kalamber Vibhag SSK Ltd in Nanded.

Dollex Industries in a statement issued here said it had bid for the co-operative sugar facility in a view of establishing an integrated, sugar complex consisting of power, ethanol and sugar.

The decision on the sale of Kalamber Vibhag SSK Ltd will be made by Group of Ministers (GoM) in this week, the company informed.

If the acquisition goes through, the company plans to expand the sugar crushing capacity of the unit to 10,000 TCD and further add 1,00,000 KLPD of Ethanol capacity and 80 MW of co-generation power.

However, the company did not give any financial details of the deal.
