CM orders removal of posters from city walls

Hyderabad, July 17 (UNI) Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Y S Rajasekhara Reddy today ordered the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) to immediately remove all posters from city walls and flyovers.

Dr Reddy told GHMC Commissioner C V S K Sharma to initiate legal proceedings against individuals and firms for defacing the city.

He said the walls along the main roads, particularly in Khairatabad and Mehdipatnam areas, were defaced with posters.

The posters had exceeded so much in number that even the traffic signs were invisible, he added.
