CLP appeals to opposition to co-operate with govt
Hyderabad, July 17 (UNI) The Congress Legislature Party (CLP) today appealed the opposition parties to co-operate with the Andhra Pradesh Government in the smooth functioning of the House to discuss various issues as the state regime was ready to discuss any matter raised by them.
Addressing a press conference soon after the House was adjourned for the day, Government Chief Whip N Kiran Kumar Reddy and other MLAs said that the opposition should stick to the agenda decided in the Business Advisory Committee meeting and try to get replies from the government.
He said the opposition should play a constructive role in the House and should not disturb the proceedings by moving the adjournment motions and by skipping the agenda items. The lack of unity among the opposition parties was the main reason for the adjournment of the House today without transacting any business.
He said the opposition should try to get replies from the government and should not waste the precious time of the House by creating trouble in the House.
