Chidambaram to inaugurate NABARD's silver jubilee celebrations

Mumbai, July 17 (UNI) Union Finance Minister P Chidambaram will inaugurate the silver jubilee celebrations of the National Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development( NABARD) here on July 20.

Announcing this here today, Bank chairman Y S P Thorat told UNI that a host of dignitaries, including Union Agriculture Minister Sharad Pawar and Maharashtra Chief Minister Vilasrao Deshmukh will grace the occasion.

Mr Chidambaram was to inaugurate the silver jubilee celebrations of NABARD on July 13 last but the function was postponed following the demise of former Prime Minister Chandrasekhar.
