Chhattisgarh Governor to visit Tirumala
Tirupati, July 17: Chhattisgarh Governor E S L Narasimhan will pay a two-day visit to Tirumala and Tirupati from tomorrow.
According to official sources here yesterday, Mr Narasimhan is expected to arrive here from Chennai by road at around 2000 hrs and would offer prayers at Goddess Padmavathi Ammavari temple at Tiruchanoor. Later, he would visit Tirumala and offer worship to Lord Venkateswara.
After night halt atop the hill, the Governor would offer prayers to the Lord on tomorrow morning, before leaving for Tirupati, where he would inaugurate the 65th annual festival of music and dance at Thyagaraja Trust premises.
After overnight stay in Tirupati, he would leave for Chennai by road, the sources added.
