Amandeep Jr scores brace for JCT Academy

Chandigarh, July 17 (UNI) Jagatjit Cotton Textile (JCT) Academy handed out a 5-1 drubbing to Mahilpur Football Club in the 21st Punjab State Super Football League being held at the Guru Nanak College Ground in Phagwara.

Amandeep Junior emerged as the star performer of the winner team by scoring two goals.

The JCT Academy dominated the proceedings but took time to forge ahead in 44th minute though Lahlimathara Mahlima was substitued by Lalchhuanmawa in the 59th minute. Amandeep Junior made it 2-0 in the 45th minute. He got his second goal in the 82nd minute.

JCT Academy kept on the pressure and Amandeep Senior further increased the tally in the 70th minute. H Lalnuzira rounded of the winners' tally in the 87th minute.

Satwinder Singh scored the solitary goal for Mahilpur Football Club.
