4 motorists arrested for killing property dealer in road rage

New Delhi, July 17 (UNI) Four youths were today arrested by the Delhi Police from the Khanpur area of South Delhi for lynching a 27-year-old property dealer to death last night in road rage case at Lado Sarai.

Sandeep, Rakesh, Chander and Suresh, who lynched the property dealer Jitender to death last night at Lado Sarai T point after an altercation with him, were today arrested by the police from Khanpur, just hours after the incident.

The incident occurred late last night in the Saket area when Jitendra Singh, who was in a car, and four men on a motorcycle had a heated exchange on the road, said area DCP Anil Shukla.

''The four reportedly beat him up severely after which he died.'' On interrogation, the accused revealed that they had an altercation with the deceased on the issue of rash driving at Lado Sarai T point red light. They also said a fifth person Murari, a resident of Sangam Vihar, was also involved in the incident.

Efforts were on to arrest Murari.

UNI
