Subros to invest Rs 200 crore in 5 yrs

New Delhi, July 16 (UNI) Country's leading manufacturer of auto airconditioner (AC) systems Subros Ltd today said it will invest around Rs 200 crore in the next five years and increase its capacity to 1.5 million units from the current capacity of 7.5 lakh units.

''We will invest half of the funds in capacity expansion and rest will be invested in new model development,'' Company's Chief Executive Officer D M Reddy told reporters.

The funding will be met through internal accruals, he added.

Seventy per cent of the investment will be made in the company's Manesar plant and the rest will be invested in Pune plant.
