Smriti Irani unveils Tanishq's exquisite jewellery range

Mumbai, July 16 (UNI) Television actress Smriti Irani aka Tulsi inaugurated the all-new Tanishq showroom at Ghatkopar here yesterday. She also unveiled ''Royal Collection'', which is inspired from the lavishly bejeweled ornamentation of the ancient Mughal kings and royals. Each jewellery piece in this collection is made in the traditional ''Kundan'' style with fine precious and semi precious gems embedded in the purest form of gold.

Speaking to reporters, Tanishq vice president (retail and marketing) Govind Raj said the showroom has installed a caratmeter to measure purity of gold so as to protect consumers against being cheated.

The Tanishq retail chain currently includes 94 exclusive boutiques in 65 cities.
