Rainless day in Delhi, slight warm, humid conditions
New Delhi, July 16 (UNI) After bountiful rainfall and overcast sky over the last few days, the skies in Delhi opened up today with the sunlight and high humidity levels resulting in return to slight humid conditions in the Capital.
Though the maximum temperature today dropped slightly, from 36 degrees Celsius yesterday to 35.5 degrees C today, the sunlight, interspersed with a cloudy weather, and the humidity, (close to 90 per cent) caused Delhiites some discomfort.
After a period of bountiful showers witnessed in the city last week, it was a rainless day today.
With the dissipation of the low pressure area over North Bay of Bengal which led to heavy showers in Delhi over the last week, the weathermen forecast a subdued rainfall activity in Delhi and other parts of Northwest India in the next four to five days.
The Met office have forecast a partly cloudy sky in Delhi during the next 24 hours with possibility of rain and thundershowers in a few areas.
