One killed, three injured in cylinder blast

Mumbai, July 16 (UNI) One person was killed and three others were injured when a cooking gas cylinder exploded at Ektna Nagar in Mankhurd in north east Mumbai today.

The mishap occurred at around 1500 hrs when 'pani-puri' was being prepared in a 'karkhana', fire brigade sources said.

One person died instantly while three others sustained burn injuries and were rushed to the Lokmanya Tilak hospital in Sion.

The body of the deceased is yet to be identified.

However, police are probing the matter, sources added.
