Patna, Jul 16 (UNI) Firing back at Railway Minister Lalu Prasad for his prediction about the fall of the NDA government, Chief Minister Nitish Kumar today said Mr Prasad and the RJD would not even be able to open its account in the 2009 Lok Sabha election.

Retorting sharply at the comments of Mr Prasad, made during his party workers' training camp in which the Railway Minister had predicted about the fall of the Nitish government, Mr Kumar said it was a great irony that the Railway Minister had still not taken lesson from the debacle of his party in the Assembly election.

He said the comments of Mr Prasad smacked of sheer desperation and added that Mr Prasad's party would be wiped out from Bihar in the 2009 Lok Sabha election.

Mr Kumar said the court verdict in Bhagalpur riot had exposed Mr Prasad as the latter had failed to mete out justice to those, who voted him to power.

The minorities had lost confidence in Mr Prasad and the dalits too had lost faith in him, Mr Kumar stated.

To a query, Mr Kumar said his Ministry would be expanded to fill the vacant posts. however he did not disclose the timefarme for the same.
