New Delhi, July 16 (UNI) Even as 'The Order of the Phoenix', latest in series of Harry Potter films, makes news for, among other things, his first big screen kiss, actor Daniel Radcliffe, says the kissing scene in the movie was not as much of a big deal as it was being made out to be.

''It's a really sweet, tender moment in the film. But it wasn't as big a deal as, perhaps, everybody thought it might be,''Daniel said in an appearance on Larry King Live aired on CNN yesterday.

''Actually, Harry is like somebody who is in the collective consciousness of a generation of people. Naturally, his first kiss means a lot to them. And so ... I think people have got a bit wrapped up in it,''Daniel said.

Speaking on the show, Daniel said the greatest thing about being a part of the Harry Potter movies was making some of his best friends on the sets.

''Over the last seven years that I've been doing the films, I've made some of the most fantastic friends. I mean a lot of my best friends in the world I've met them on the set, and people who will play a very important part in the rest of my life, I've met there. I would probably never met them had it not been for the movies. so that's been the best part about it,''the actor said.

Asked whether his association with the ''Harry Potter image'' in a series of film would typecast him as an actor, Daniel said, ''I personally don't think they will. I mean they -- they haven't so far and that's why all the films are still going on. I did "Equus" earlier in the year and I've done an independent Australian movie called "December Boys," which comes out later this year. And, in about a month's time, I'm filming a TV movie in England about Rudyard Kipling and his son called "My Boy Jack.'' ''So far, you know, people seem to not really mind the fact that I'm associated with Harry Potter and seem to be casting me for my acting rather than anything else. So hopefully that's just going to continue after the films are over,''he added.

On suggestions that he may be a little too old for the part now, Daniel said,''I don't think it should make too much of a difference.

After all, actors play younger and older than their age all the time. When Heath Ledger did "Brokeback Mountain," the character he plays starts off younger than him and ends up much older.'' UNI
