Kasom Khullen sub-division cut off due to landslide

Imphal, Jul 16 (UNI) The entire Kasom Khullen division of Ukhrul district has been disconnected from the rest of the world due to a landslide at Nungshithaibi of Kasom Khullen sub-division.

Kasom Khullen Sub-Division Development Association (KKSDDA) sources said the only road connecting the sub-division to the outside world was disrupted due to the landslide.

Meanwhile, local residents were trying to clear the road but were unsuccessful so far due to the massive boulders blocking the road.

The KKSDDA has urged the government to help clear the obstruction, sources added.
