India rubbishes Amnesty report on helicopter sale to Myanmar

New Delhi, July 16 (UNI) India today rubbished reports that it was selling Advanced Light Helicopters to Myanmar in spite of an embargo.

''Completely baseless,'' External Affairs Ministry spokesman Navtej Sarna said in reponse to a question on a statement by the Amnesty International that India is selling the Advanced Light Helicopters to Myanmar in spite of embargo.

Myanmar which is being ruled by military junta, faces an embargo regarding sale of arms to the country.
