Chandigarh, July 16 (UNI) The Punjab and Haryana High Court today issued notice to the Punjab government for July 24, on the petition of Raninder Singh and Raminder Singh, son and son-in-law respectively of former Chief Minisrter Capt Amarinder Singh.

The petition seeks to direct the authorities to give them 10 days notice if they were required to be arrested or questioned in any case in future by the Punja Police or Vigilance Bureau.

The notice was issued by the Division Bench of Justice P Sathasivam and Justice Rajive Bhalla after hearing the petition.

Raninder and Raminder have been granted interim anticipatory bail by the court in the Ludhiana City Centre scam. They, however, apprehend arrest in some false case like the present one, as and when they appear in connection with the investigation as the current SAD-BJP regime was implicating the family members and close associates of Capt Singh for political reasons and vendetta.
