Free medical camps for poor in Rajasthan - Paswan

Jaipur, July 16 (UNI) Union Steel Minister Ramvilas Paswan today said the Steel Authority of India Limited (SAIL) will soon organise free medical camps for poor people in every district of Rajasthan.

Talking to reporters here today, Mr Paswan said in these camps specialist doctors would check and treat visiting patients and provide even free medicines to them.

Similar camps would also be organised through SAIL for distribution of wheel chairs and other aid to poor handicapped people, he added.

He said similar camps were presently being organised in Jharkhand and the same had already been organised in Bihar.

Mr Paswan arrived here this afternoon from Ajmer.

In Ajmer Mr Paswan visited the Durgah of Sufi saint Khwaja Moinuddin Hasan Chisti and performed ziyarat on the occasion of 795th annual urs which began today.

Mr Paswan also offered ''Chaddar'' at the tomb of the sufi saint.
