Cong demands action in adulterated food manufacture

Lucknow, July 16 (UNI) Congress today demanded the arrest of people, involved in the manufacture of adulterated ghee, oil, wheat and foodgrains.

''There are complaints that adulterated ghee, oil, wheat and foodgrains are being sold in the markets,'' a party release said here.

According to reports, desi ghee made from animal skin is manufactured under the name of leading brands, it added.

The Congress has demanded action under the National Security Act (NSA) in such cases.
