Century Plywood targets Rs1000 crore consolidated turnover
Kolkata, Jul 16 (UNI) Century Plywood Limited is targetting to increase its consolidated turnover to Rs 1000 crore in 2007-08, compared to Rs 716 crore last year.
Speaking to mediapersons at the company's AGM here today, Century Plywood Managing Director Sajjan Bhajjanka said the company has plans to invest Rs 300 crore in its new clinker plant, which is part of its Rs 1000 crore mega investment plan.
''Cement Manufacturing Company Limited(CMCL), a wholly owned subsidiary of Century Plyood Limited, is planning to set up greenfield projects in Asom, Bihar and Jharkhand,'' he said.
He said CMCL would also expand its existing cement and clinker manufacturing capacity.
The construction, housing and infrastructure sectors would be the growth driver for the company's business, he said.
