Srinagar, July 16 (UNI) Dukhtaran-e-Millat (Daughters of Faith) chairperson Asiya Andrabi today advised the women of Kashmir to carry knives for their safety and called for complete boycott of the Army's 'Operation Sadhbhavna (goodwill)'.

''My appeal to the women folk is to carry knives to safeguard their chastity,'' she told a news conference here.

Ms Andrabi alleged that the Army was using sexual exploitation as a ''war weapon'' in the guise of its 'Operation Sadhbhavna' to ''crush the ongoing freedom struggle'' in Jammu and Kashmir.

The firebrand woman separatist leader also displayed a sharp knife at the news conference.

''It is a deep-rooted conspiracy by the security forces to exploit the innocent people of Jammu and Kashmir,'' she added.

Ms Andrabi called upon the people to completely boycott the Operation Sadhbhavna and urged them to refrain from taking any help from the orphanages and other institutions run by the Army.
