Animal Husbandry Dept undertakes vaccination drive for animals

Gandhinagar, July 16 (UNI) The Animal Husbandary Department of Gujarat has undertaken a vaccination drive on a war-footing to safeguard the cattle and livestock from various diseases after the heavy rains that lashed the state early this month.

About 88 teams of veterinary doctors have been deployed in various districts, which have given treatment to about 45,807 animals and vaccinated 3,27,812 animals, an official release said here today.
