Adhimik Metaliks receives ISO/TS 16949 certification from UK

Kolkata, Jul 16 (UNI) Adhunik Metaliks Ltd, the Kolkata based steel company, today announced that it has received ISO/TS 16949 certification from the UK.

This certification was received by the company, which is in recognition of the quality management system at the company's integrated steel plant at Chadrihariharpur in Orissa.

Company General Manager (MIS and Materials) Sudipto Paul, " This quality certification will help Adhunik to target OEM customers in the automobile segment. It will facilitate long term relationships with OEMs, resulting into assured orders and also higher margins." Adhunik Metaliks would invest in newer initiatives that help the organisation to compete with global players in the alloy steels segment, he said.

Higher margins could be once again ploughed back into future acquisition in the down stream value chain for further growth.
