800 highway inspectors to be appointed in TN

Kancheepuram, July 16 (UNI) The Tamil Nadu Government will soon appoint 800 highway inspectors across the State, State Highways Minister Vellakoil Saminathan said today.

Talking to newspersons here, he said the inspectors would be recruited through the employment office.

The Minister said six lakh saplings would be planted along the national highways as per a directive of Chief Minister M Karunanidhi.
