13 people awarded life imprisonment for murder

Jamtara, July 16 (UNI) A local court today awarded life imprisonment to 13 people in a murder case in this district of Jharkhand.

According to prosecution, a person named Narayan Rai was killed in personal rivalry in Bhelatand village under Narayanpur police station on November 20, 2002.

Initailly 16 people were made accused but later on three were acquitted from the case.

Additional District and Session judge Arun Kumar today sentenced the 13 to life in prison after finding them guily.
