TRS to organise series of agitations in Telangana

Hyderabad, July 15 (UNI) Telangana Rastra Samithi (TRS) President K Chandrasekhara Rao today said the party would organise series of agitations in Telangana, demanding the state government to implement 'Sachar Committee recommendations' and allocate Rs 1000 crore for muslim welfare.

Addressing a press conference here, Mr Rao said the TRS would organise rallies in every constitutional headquarters on August one, dharnas on August eight and road blockades on August 14 to press their demand.

Stating that the TRS would also raise this issue in the Assembly and Council sessions to be held from tomorrow, the TRS leader demanded that the government adopt a resolution on Sachar Committee recommendation in the Assembly.

He said the 610 GO issue, auto digital meters in the twin cities of Hyderabad and Secunderabad, Minimum Support Price (MSP) to agricultural produce, seed supply to farmers and 12 hour power supply for agricultural pumpsets would also be raised during the sessions.
