Two brothers arrested with four quintals of poppy husk

Ambala, July 14 (UNI) Haryana police today recovered four quintals of poppy husk and one kg ganja from two brothers at Dinarpur village, 20 km from here.

According to the police sources, the police on an information raided the house of alleged accused Kirpal Singh and Jagir Singh and recovered the contraband, which was kept in an underground manhole.

The contraband was to be smuggled to Uttar Pradesh, it was brought from Punjab and both the brothers were to act as carriers, the police said.

Both the brothers were arrested and booked under NDPS Act.
