Mother commits suicide after killing children

Hassan, Karnataka, July 14 (UNI) In a gruesome incident, a woman committed suicide after pushing her three children, including two girls, into a canal at Koti village here today.

According to police sources, poverty and family dispute forced the woman to take the extreme step.

The woman identified as Channamma, was found hanging after pushing her three children Pooja (12), Roja (9) and Prashanth (6) into a canal in the village.

The bodies of the deceased were recovered with the help of the villagers, the sources added.
