APCC lauds Govt's decision to fill up vacancies in 6 months

Hyderabad, July 14 (UNI) The Andhra Pradesh Congress Committee (APCC) today hailed the decision of the State Government to fill up 10,000 vacancies in various government departments within six months, through the Andhra Pradesh Public Service Commission (APPSC).

In a statement here, Party Spokesperson N Tulasi Reddy said that during the TDP rule from 1995-96 to 2003-2004, recruitment had not exceeded 2,000.

Dr Tulasi Reddy said during the regime of TDP President N Chandrababu Naidu, when 7,170 jobs were filled up at the rate of 797 jobs a year, the Congress government had filled up 7,215 vacancies through APPSC at the rate of 2,405 posts a year.
