Mumbai, July 13: Tech Mahindra Ltd has announced that Randall Stephenson, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of AT&T Inc (NYSE:T), the worlds largest telecommunications company, visited the company yesterday and dedicated a state of the art, multi-vendor, multi-services, next generation telecom research and development (R&D) centre.

In a statement here today, Mr Stephenson said, ''I am delighted to make my first visit to India and it is a great honour to dedicate this new Tech Mahindra R&D centre. In the few days that I have spent in India I have been impressed by the levels of energy, skills and dedication of the people I have met. I am certain this new facility will help to nurture a new generation of innovators and leaders.'' During his visit, Mr Stephenson experienced the company's depth of expertise in the telecom ecosystem, ranging from customer experience solutions to device level R&D capabilities. The company enables global telecom leaders to maintain their competitive edge through high quality service delivery, operational excellence and rapid technology transformation capabilities.
