Speaker reviews Assembly security with police officials

Hyderabad, July 13 (UNI) Andhra Pradesh Assembly Speaker K R Suresh Reddy today reviewed the security measures being taken up at the Assembly premises with the police officials for the monsoon session begining from July 16.

Central Zone Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP) M Iqbal told newspersons that the meeting had decided to beef up security in the Assembly, keeping in view the naxal threat and the Presidential elections to be held on July 19.

State Director General of Police (DGP) M A Basith, City Police Commissioner Balwinder Singh and other city police officials participated in the meeting.
