'My outburst was not emotional' : Nitish

Patna, Jul 13 (UNI) A high voltage political drama followed by the resignation threat of the Bihar Chief Minister created a flutter in the corridors of power as Mr Nitish Kumar today emphasised that his quit offer was not an emotional outburst.

Retorting to a query regarding his resignation threat, Mr Kumar told newsperson, ''It was not my emotional outburst. Now I speak in a well calculated manner.'' Referring to the train mishap of Gaisaal during his tenure as Railway Minister, Mr Kumar said emotions over-powered him then and, perturbed with the accident, he had resigned from the post.

Asked about the anguish of the MLAs who levelled several allegations at him during yesterdays meeting of NDA legislators, Mr Kumar said they had the right to express their anguish. Mr Kumar, however, evaded queries related to the cabinet expansion, one of the major issues of the MLAs.

Mr Kumar said the people had voted him for a change and their aspirations were his first priority.
