ISB signs MoU with S'pore Mngt University

Hyderabad, July 13: The Centre for IT and the Networked Economy (CITNE) at the Indian School of Business (ISB) here and the School of Information Systems (SIS) at the Singapore Management University (SMU) today signed an MoU to promote collaborative research in Information Systems (IS).

The MOU was signed by CITNE Executive Director Ravi Bapna and SMU Dean Steven Miller.

Prof Ravi said CITNE's mission was to pursue rigorous and relevant knowledge creation (research) and dissemination (teaching), targeted at taking the global IT and IT-enabled services revolution to the next level.

He also said the MoU would create a virtual pool of world class IS management faculty that would tackle issues of importance to the burgeoning South Asian IT/ITeS industry.

The agreement is for an initial period of three years, starting from July one, 2007.
